MonoMonday: First Day of Spring

For KangaZu's MM challenge this week I chose to photograph the first daffodil of spring in our garden. Our full-size daffs are always slow to come into bloom so they've not yet appeared: this is one of our mini ones, only about 9 inches tall. I knelt down with the camera on the ground to capture it (and - thankfully - I got up again without too much trouble!).
