Today...

...was a confusing day. Julius Malema of the EFF party had called for a National shutdown, protesting about various factors. We were warned not to go to shopping malls, and many businesses shut down for the day. I heard in the course of the morning that all was quiet, so I ventured to the Greenacres and Walmer Park shopping malls to try and sort hubby's cell phone problems out. The malls were very quiet and not once did I have to queue....my pet hate!  And I did some retail therapy too.
I'm not sure whether the marches were a success or not..
Tomorrow is a public holiday so I look forward to a quiet day at home.
