Spring Equinox.

First day of spring today. The tree 'got it' the weather didn't! Damp walk to school this morning, but it was mild, which was good.

Stressful day for Hayley today. She doesn't usually work on Monday's, but has been doing maternity cover this term. Her job title is Trust Director of Personal Development. It covers 7 schools at the moment (soon to be 9). Anyway, today she found out that ofsted was due at one of the schools in the trust. She left home at 7am this morning, and got home at 6.40pm. It always annoys me when people think teachers work 9 - 3!! 

Two of the schools under her wing have received 'Outstanding', so here's hoping for a hat trick. I've  every confidence in her. Proud too, but I wish she had a less stressful job. Not to mention that she's having to miss a consultant/hospital appointment with Emmeline tomorrow. How hard it is for working Mum's these days? Her daughter's health is more important than ofsted, but...... What to do?
