Daffodil Dung Fly, Sewer Fly and Chiffchaff

I contacted Thames Water via Affinity Water this morning and they're coming to sort the sewer on Wednesday. I was amused that when I went looking for spring macro subjects I found a sewer fly and a daffodil dung fly. These were on the bank of our neighbour's lake not near our compromised sewer.

The vernal equinox/first day of spring was grey and wet but it was lovely to capture my first chiffchaff of 2023.
