Ceasing

I asked Hayley how she was feeling about having turned 40 about six weeks ago. We agreed that it brings somewhat of a quiet confidence.

She added ‘I just think we cease to be arsed’, which was even more correct.

I ceased to be arsed by lounging around all day in the tropical heat.
