Opera from the Met

A lousy photo I’m afraid, just a quick shot on my phone, but all I got today.This afternoon we went to see Wagner’s Lohengrin, a simulcast from the Metropolitan Opera in New York, showing at one of our local cinemas. Whilst seeing an opera live in person is obviously great, I do love these simulcasts, as you get to see their faces close up, showing their expressions, and during the 2 intermissions they have short interviews with some of the cast members, as well as seeing all the stage hands busy changing the scenery back stage, which is fascinating. I took this at the end of the performance
