Day 5 in The Sounds

The main Blip shows that the weather was giving us the opportunity to head for home in fine conditions and in the bay early morning the sun shone and the water was flat calm giving the beautiful reflection.
As we left the bay a few dolphins paid us a brief visit and I just managed to get an average shot of them in the first Extra.
The second Extra was a row of Shags sitting drying off and it amused me as the sat all in a row.
The third Extra is a yacht heading into "French Pass" this is a treacherous stretch of water separating the South Island and De Urville  Island with a narrow waterway to go through and can only be done safely on slack water unless you have a boat with powerful engines, it's 500 metres deep (1600 feet) and has significant whirlpools.
The last Extra is Kokako coming through between the lighthouses and makes it look wide but be assured it's not.
We made good time getting back and left both boats safely on their moorings after an enjoyable trip.
Now I'm playing Blip catch up!
