distant giants

Walking down Buchanan St in Glasgows city centre today, became aware of the sun shining on these whirling turbines! They are 6 miles away on Eaglesham Moor !
My imagination had them a race of giants ,striding over the hills on seven-league boots ,intent on laying waste to St Enochs. Stood for a minute pondering whether I should shout a warning to all the commuters scurrying homewards,seemingly oblivious to the towering menace!
But thought better of it and scurried homewards myself!
