Spring is in the air. *

Towards the end of my bike ride I came across geese, glossy ibis, herons, godwits, redshanks, and this friendly pair of teal ducks. (Heavily cropped.) 
Extra 1: "Wait for me, Mum." A very young egret tries to catch up.
Extra 2: A siege of egrets. Egrets, I've blipped a few, but never so many in one shot.

*Xmas has already begun as well. Have just been sent a picture of  friends at the Xmas recording of a TV comedy quiz. They even wore Xmas jerseys, but declined the xmas hats.
