Emergency blip

Quite a sunny and windy morning meant I was able to get a load of washing (some curtains we brought with us) dry.

Then a trip into Waterford, with the weather deteriorating rapidly into persistent rain.  First to Woodies, where we bought the stuff to make a framework for some Ikea baskets/drawers for my sewing room.  Then W had an outpatient appointment regarding his cataract operation, whilst I sat in Costa.

Once home, realised I didn't have any photos.  So a wander around the house, and you are treated to a collage of some of the rather excessively ornate light fittings.  Some of these may be replaced with simpler fittings in the fullness of time.  And today we found light bulbs (and batteries*) in one of our boxes, so may be able to replace some of the blown ones. 

*remote control garage door opener now working properly!
