Dead frog

A puddle in newly poured concrete is not a good environment for sustaining life.
A busy day with keepfit, shopping and a short run this morning and then work on the pond this afternoon. The weather was better than expected so I got the last of the water out and freed the old liner before we both removed it and put the new one (and its underlay) roughly in place. The water we'd taken out has been replaced, with additions from various containers I had around the garden to collect rain, and now we need some rain to fill it up and settle the liner before the edges can be tidied up.
After that we decided to go to Dobbies with my birthday voucher (comes with thier club membership) for tea and cake - well, lemon and poppy seed scones, actually.
Zoom prayer meeting this evening but now I can have a rest.
