Time for tea

C dropped by for a cuppa this evening - we haven't seen each other since Christmas, so we were long overdue for a catch up.

We had a good old chat about this, that and the other and wandered out to the garden. She and the GM have spent a good deal of time and effort making a beautiful, calm, welcoming space that they can sit out and enjoy, and I may well borrow their expertise and their muscles to spruce up mine!

Inside, C expressed great admiration for my bathroom, bless 'er - and I thought I'd get a bit posh with (mismatching) proper teacups and saucers, and my beautiful teapot. It used to belong to my nan, and my mum passed it on to me. I doubt very much it has any monetary value, but in my head it somehow makes a cuppa warmer and more welcoming.

And look, it's pretty :-)
