Headless

Here is a mallard doing an impression of a headless chicken.

I was back at Kinghorn Loch for an hour this afternoon. Managed a few of the little grebes but most were too distant to make a great blip and the best was very similar to one I have already blipped.

So here I give you a mallard drake in mid-preen (again, fairly distant).

Finally a big thank you for all the stars yesterday - I wasn't expecting that, after all, it looked pretty ugly to me.
