Goldcrest 2

Went nearly potty trying to blip this little character today.  He was flitting about all over the place, in and out of swags of ivy and off and on the willow.  The difficulty is that without using the teleconverter he's not close enough for a decent shot, but with it the focus starts to get muddled. Much patience is required, but I was pleased with this shot of him/her about to take off.

After that I met up with Little Sis for a gossipy coffee (thank you, C) and then came home for doggo.  Right now I'm supposed to be doing the washing-up but am going with the theory it's more easily done after soaking a while ;))
