Grazing!

Here are Snap and Elvis on our walk this morning. 
Apparently we have a village Facebook page, and somebody recently posted a lovely scene of a family of five deer in the mist early one morning. Well two days later there were 15 hunters out looking for them, and today on the outskirts of the woods we found one of their kills. A young deer had been killed and butchered, with just its head, legs and tail left behind at the side of the path.
That’s the downside of living in France.
