Los Cuevos de Nerja, Andalusia
Prompted by a comment from a golfing pal, we got off of our butts and caught a bus to these internationally famous caves. The audio-guide gave lots of info, both scientific and anecdotal, although not enough to understand where the ancient wall paintings are, and precisely why they are not accessible to the public. Still, a really worthwhile visit, despite keeping us out of the sun.
As compensation, we treated ourselves to:-
Real butcher's morcilla.
A tapas lunch in Puntillo, our favourite, traditional bar.
A roasting on our veranda, followed by completion of the latest Biobank questionnaire, on sleep.
Extras: Lunching, and post earthquake stalag thingys.
The morcilla counter.
