At the Limit

The water gushing over the stepping stones this morning was at the maximum level for me crossing. I suspect there is even more water passing over now given the rain during the day today. Fine peaty colour as it comes down from the hill above the village most of which is pure peat. In the extra is the path and there was almost as much water on it as there was in the burn.

First Shetland Skylark's heard today. Heard a few last week in Aberdeen and I've heard that there was a big influx of them at the weekend. Later than usual but they were in good voice today.
