This memorial sits outside the gates of the Houses of Parliament.

On 22 March 2017, though unarmed, PC Palmer stopped a knife-wielding terrorist from entering the Palace of Westminster during a Westminster attack. He tragically died from his wounds. He was posthumously awarded the George Medal.
