Enjoying the sun

Periods of sunshine on a breezy day. Some people were taking advantage of the rays at lunchtime in front of the Scottish Parliament.

Inside the Parliament the First Minister was issuing an apology to people affected by the practice of forced adoption, when thousands of unmarried women were forced to give up their babies for adoption in the 1950s, 60s and 70s.

A small group was also outside the Parliament to draw attention to the issue of adoptee rights. (Extra).
