Busy, as Usual

And another glorious day, although it turned cloudy and colder as the afternoon wore on. The building inspector came quite early, poked his head into the fireplace and declared that everything was as it should be. I spent the rest of the morning working, then popped out for some groceries. Back to tidy up the house in anticipation of a friend stopping by tonight. I went to a chipping clinic (chipping as in golf) late afternoon and then my friend came by. We had a great catch up and ate enough appetizers to constitute dinner, thank goodness! 

And here we are with a mundane blip captured in another container in my courtyard. Not an emergency blip per se but I'm running out of handy blooming plants.

But....the guys finished the bulk of the courtyard renovation this afternoon. It really looks fabulous, and I'm so excited to share it with you soon. But I want to plant at least some of it first...and will do so next week when I'm on vacation!
