Take care

A pair of Masked Lapwings (related to Plovers) feeds on Seven Mile Beach. At this time of year they are fairly docile, but in nesting season they can be very aggressive in defending their nests. They are known for their bold nesting habits, being quite prepared to make a nest on almost any stretch of open ground, including suburban parks and gardens, school ovals, and even supermarket carparks and flat rooftops (Wikipedia).
