Well Court

Very windy, so chose a partly sheltered walk. Out by tram to Haymarket, by the Roseburn path to the Water of Leith path. At this point the river walkway ends, with a bridge to Hawthornbank Lane, resuming at the end of Miller Row under the Dean Bridge. 

Well Court, the building on the left, has history . The path wasn't too busy, but tour group season has started, with clots of people at Dean Village and by St Bernard's Well. Diverted from the path before Stockbridge to come back through the New Town.
