Happy birthday to me

Happy birthday to me, 
It's my birthday you see,
out for dinner, all together,
for the first time with family .... 

Well, since moving to Istanbul in 1997 that is. Then retiring in 2020 but unable to come back to Essex due to covid, then sorting out my permanent Turkish residency permit last Spring, today is the first time I've been in the UK for my birthday for 26 years.  Having driven back from Ralph in Holland-on-sea late morning, and relaxed the rest of the afternoon, this evening was birthday celebrations with family.  We all (Gareth, Charlotte, William, Jonathan, Maddy and her b/f Harry went to The Gardeners for dinner to celebrate and then came home for birthday cake and gifts !
