Earmuffs

When the jedi gets upset or things seem to be too noisy or he goes into sensory overload he holds his ears. He won't wear ear defenders,  and nursery have said that he is getting upset with noise etc. So I ordered some earmuffs for him to try. They arrived last night and he took to them straight away.  When he got upset he put them on. 
This morning he woke up crying and when I brought him downstairs he went straight for a pair. I ordered him 2 pairs. 

This morning on my way too work I saw my first ever cormorants.  I've seen them on blip thanks to blipper meinz and others but I've never seen them in real life. It's not the best photo but I was quite far away and up on a bridge.  There was 3 of them. 2 looked quite young.  

Our nursery meeting went well. They're happy with how the jedi has settled into nursery.  He flits from one thing to another but is quite consistent with the train track , water play and painting.  The train track is the toy he asks for the minute he's up most mornings. We told nursery that we will be deferring him from going to school for a extra year. He will go when he is 5 years 8 months. The extra time in nursery will be beneficial for him. 
When we went for the meeting the boss said that Harp had taken herself for a nap amd said that her tummy was hurting.  I think she was just tired as she has been fine since we picked her up. She's had a snack and is about to have dinner. 

The boys had a great day at school.  And got on really well. We need to start thinking of their easter competition.  It's on space. Lincoln loves the topic and was able to tell his teacher about the 5 dwarf planets and told her the names of a few of them . I'm impressed at that . 

Mr R is having to work quite late tonight as he took a few hours out for the meeting.  He also has a long day tomorrow as he has a meeting down south.  I'll have dinner before him tonight and tomorrow.  I normally wait till jes home but last night was near 9pm. And I had a sleepless night last night.
