Muddy Birthday!

A muddy Birthday.
Fresh air, big walks but much rain.
Lunch and rocky road.

Happy Birthday to Mr KCNQ2Haiku!  Also photo credit to Mr KCNQ2Haiku.  There was a little pass under the stiles that we thought Leo might go through, Mr KCNQHaiku even went over first and put a treat at the other side but Leo was adamant he wasn't going in.  He actually spread his legs when put towards the gap.  I didn't even know he could do that!  So I carried him over.  You get a full view of how muddy I am and also the soggy dog.  Notable other aspects were seeing Deer (lots of deer) and frogspawn. It was fun to be out in the fresh air.. until it wasn't anymore.  The rain started lashing down and we were wet through.  We dried off at home and went out for lunch which was lovely.  Then fetched Ben from school which was less lovely, as he'd had a tricky day.  He's been good at home though.  We had some rocky road as the birthday cake which was very tasty and now it's nearly time for bed.  Yawn.  Birthdays are exhausting!
