Flowering Currant

A bright start to the day, though the weather went downhill after that. Even so, these past few days have felt more springlike and more plants are awakening by the day.

Before it did, I did some office work on my laptop in my favourite town centre cafe, where I was joined for a coffee and lovely chat by my good friend Ruth.
