A snow free veranda + Rusty

We did some good walks today, enjoying the sunshine even if the wind was cold enough to feel fairly biting.
The first walk was across Gummark's Lake. The three ladies and Rusty walked the full length of the lake. I did the first half and then returned home where I hopped into the car and drove to pick up the tired walkers.
After a refreshing cup of tea I cleared the snow away from the veranda on the south side of Clair's house. Rusty enthusiastically chased each shovelful of snow or piece of ice. This will be a great place to sit when the season warms up just a bit more!
In the evening Rose, Rusty and I did a short walk along the frozen and snow-covered stream that feeds the lake.
