Eye level

This photo is taken from ground height from a unique animal-viewing hide dug into the ground at Randilen Wildlife Management Area. It was a treat to enter through a long tunnel and duck into the hide, emerging with this close-up view of a waterhole. The idea is to get amazing wildlife interactions when elephants and other critters come to drink, although it was nowhere near dusk or dawn so it was quiet during our visit. Despite the baboon faeces reeking the hide out, I very much enjoyed seeing this unique setup.
