Fire!

2 nights ago this marina with dry rack storage for boats suffered a big fire in the middle of the night… 30 boats burned….If we had been awake and looked out the window we would have seen flames….it”s right across from the rowing club dock.    It spread to that warehouse too.    A man was found hiding in one vessel moored on the water…….suspicious, and burned, but results of any investigation for arson are not yet out there.   I can’t help but think of the ecological effects..we expected to see buoys to prevent hazardous materials from spreading in the water.  At least the foam that the fire department uses now is biodegradable.  But what a shame.
