The Queen has a lot to answer to!!!!!!!

Sooooooooo .............................. this afternoon off I went to 'Bunnyland' (the dunes at Gwithian) for my walk. Actually I didn't do any walking at all. I did constant running for more than an hour. The only time I stopped was when I was looking down rabbit holes to see if I could fit my chunky little body into their bunny warrens!!!!

Ann said that she needed to tire me out because she was off out on a date tonight?!!!

A date?!!!!

Ann never goes on dates. She likes being single, she likes living with me, she likes her life.

I think the 'Queen's visit' on Friday turned her a bit mad. Or perhaps it was her very patriotic 'Union Jack' dress that she insisted on wearing all morning?? Complete strangers kept telling her how fantastic she looked.

...............One of which was her 'date' tonight!!!! He asked if he could take a photo of her, he gave her his card, and then he emailed suggesting going for a walk & a drink.

Sooooooooo off for a walk & drink she went without me. Obviously she told a couple of friends where she was going in case he murdered or abducted her. And normally she wouldn't share this sort of information on Blip. .............But honestly??!!! Ann is sooo glad she's not on the 'dating circuit'. She just feels she has to 'share' to let everyone know how happy she is.

1 Met 'date' at arranged place - almost didn't recognise him because he wasn't wearing his 'trendy' hat which he'd been wearing for the Queen's visit. He's a bit bald - but that's OK - Ann's got a few quite a lot of grey hairs showing.

2 Had a bit of a trek around and then called into a local pub for a drink. Ann had two glasses of wine and he had a coke and a packet of crisps?!! Not much in common there then?????

3 He asked if she wanted something to eat, but as he'd already said he lived with his mother and had his main meal at midday, and had had some milk and biscuits before he came out; Ann thought it was a bit rude to say that she was starving!!! Actually she wasn't - she just wanted more wine.

4 Ann thinks he was a bit intimidated by her?!! After a couple of hours they parted company and he said, 'It's been nice talking to you'.

Sooooooooooooo Charlotte & Louise - you're not going to be bridesmaids.

'Her Majesty' - you don't need to buy a new hat.

And Ann's 'date' tonight - I know you're not on Facebook, Twitter, Blip or any other social networking site. But if you're reading this, it was nice talking to you too.

.................But men & women can be friends and you obviously like walking so if you want to go walking get in touch.

However, Ann would just like to say that if she hadn't been caught up in all the 'hype' she would never have agreed to a 'date' in the first place.

Tuesday evenings are for ironing and watching East Enders. LOL!!!!!!!!
