Concert night

Today, for only the second time since she started, I got to see her in concert. I arrived in time to meet her from school and take her for a bit of time together. We went to the art gallery and had a walk in the pouring rain. We didn't care, it was just lovely to be together.

They played Rachmaninov's second symphony - and boy did they work for it, their conductor went at quite the pace for one of the movements. It's a lot of music! The second half was choral jazz and was ... Interesting... 240 of them. The school's premiere jazz ensemble were exceptional. The drum improv duet was impressive.

Cuddles with my girl after the concert.

And we've added a tenor saxophone to her repertoire for the holidays!
