Get your skates on

I promised No.1 child I would have some time with her this evening on her own. She wasn't going to let me forget.

So we put our skates on and headed to the industrial estate for a while.

It was nice just skating and talking with my big girl.

I was on school run today. I really do appreciate the drive to school in the morning. So do the kids.

Once they are all out of the house and strapped in the car with everything they need for the day it feels like a huge victory. I enjoy that moment of the car moving slowly out of the driveway, feeling very satisfied that all has gone smoothly...and......

......then suddenly...

"Mummy STOP!! I have forgotten my Hello Kitty!"

Stop the car. Back into the house. Find Kitty. Back to the car. Right, lets try again.
