London walk

I've been trying to exercise by walking recently and today went out at lunchtime for a wander around the City for an hour. Snapped today's blip in Smithfields market. I thought the ironwork and old school telephone boxes were a perfect, if cliched, London snapshot.

Chose a gothic soundtrack to this walk, once again influenced by my radio alarm, which woke me up with 'Wasteland' by The Mission this morning. During the course of today I've listened to The First Chapter, Gods Own Medicine and Children (the first 3 Mission albums). Children was one of the first albums I ever bought for myself and to this day it remains my favourite of theirs.
