A very smart table

This is one of the biggest board tables I've seen. The photo does not convey the size and grandeur of it.

Not only is it a big table but it is also very, very cool. The table was built by prisoners from Barlinnie Prison in Glasgow and from people on the restorative justice system. The wood is from Glasgow parks and would normally have been sent to landfill - at a cost. Now it is used for this furniture.

The people running the scheme are opening a factory to build more furniture, creating jobs and giving some hope to those trying to turn their lives around.

I was impressed!
