Protection pays off

This year for the first time Cathleen put protection around the  three camellias that sit in pots outside the conservatory.

Yesterday she took them off and the results have been stunning - much earlier and it seems more prolific flowering.

This is the most advanced , with the flowers already passing but they still look very good , especially just after a rain shower.
