Letting go

Today’s the day that our latest fosterlings move on.

Arriving on our doorstep 18 months ago as an emergency placement, terrified, traumatised and completely shut down, this is the day we’ve been working towards since that first evening.

It is really bittersweet.

We’re sad to see these two amazing little people leave our home but thrilled that they have the chance of living a happy, loving and fulfilled life with their forever family.

This is now the third time we’ve done this and it doesn’t get any easier, but at least we know we’ve helped them take their first steps on their new journey.
