Still Life

On a wonderful afternoon spent with E exploring the treasure trove that is Sunnybank Mills in Farsley. Thanks to Fiona for being our guide. We got to see some weaving being done, a preview of the Jacquard exhibition about to open, and also explore the artists studios. I love seeing creative people at work creating in their creative spaces. So much amazing stuff was being made. I was in awe.

We won't mention my train from Leeds being cancelled while I was sitting on it, then leaving my map on the table, going back to retrieve it and finding all the doors locked. Running late, and without a map to navigate by,  meant that I was hit by the worst weather of the day, arriving rather wet and rather grumpy. I missed my lunch date!
