…end of an era!

Attended a gathering in Edinburgh this evening to mark the stepping down from Government of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister.

It was nice to be with old friends and colleagues.

I have known both Nicola and John for over 30 years…eek! Nicola and I were in the Young Scottish Nationalists (YSN), at the same time. John was by that time National Secretary of the Party.

Wishing them both well for their future endeavours and a more peaceful life on the back benches. Thank you.

Grateful to have a few hours away from the laptop in good company.
