First new pitcher of 2023

My pitcher plants are waking up and starting to produce new pitchers for the year. I’ll trim down the remaining pitchers from last year once a few of the new ones are up and running.

I have two plants; little & large, side by side, and I have had them for over a decade. On warmer days, I leave the window open and they work their magic on flies and wasps. Bees aren’t bothered with them, they prefer to visit the flowers. Wise bees :)
