New toy

Woohoo - my new toy arrived today (a couple of days later than I expected, but that's OK). I should mention that this wide angle phone shot makes the lens appear considerably larger than it really is!

My, how technology has moved on since the 5D MkIII (which I've been using for the last 7 years) was first launched 11 years ago.  I have been working through the menus of the new camera, making some configuration changes and trying to understand all the options.  I think it will be a few more days before I have a sufficient understanding and familiarity to meet my immediate needs and quite a while longer to learn all the other functions which I may find useful in the future.  I might even have to refer to the 1074 page manual!
