Bonding

Caspar's bed was empty and briefly hairfree. D. teased him and laid herself down in his bed. Caspar immediately followed her, after all it was his bed.
The result was a cuddling, that both parties enjoyed.
Of course this is part of the bonding process. A dog needs to feel safe and cared for. For the owners this trust (and pretty soft and warm fur) is a welcome extra.
