Nesting swan

Swim first thing. Afternoon walk to Inverleith.  One swan sitting in the area where they've nested before, gathering material into a pile beside it. The other visible swan (in the middle distance on the island) looks like last year's juvenile. No sign of the other adult which we saw last on 18th March. 

Stopped for tea at the Milk stand, watched enthusiastic dogs playing on the field. Back by Broughton Market to fetch a house gift for the owners of the flat below us, and met another set of neighbours from the building as we were going along the street. Working on getting to know people and forming a community of interest.
