Season Prep

We took armfuls of new sleeping bags into school for the kids to borrow for their trip away to Valencia next week. They'll give them back afterwards and we'll share them with our friends on the streets. From there I went straight to Bossa for a walk and talk with a friend having who's in a tough season. Good to walk and listen. We saw the tractors getting the beach ready for holiday makers who'll be starting to arrive soon.
Today was Todd's last Friday, so our last weekly lunch date. I'll miss these times, they've been special. He and his partner have already booked their flights back though, so not too long to wait til we see them again.
The friend who's leaning heavily on Danny went public with some huge traumatic stuff, so it's felt like an strange time.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) The privilege of hearing people's 'stuff'.
2) Getting lots of steps in today!
3) The kids enjoying having a sleepover in Asha's room tonight.
