Chasing Rainbows

On our way up to Yorkshire for the weekend, there’s little opportunity for photography today, and I’m resorting to an iPhone shot from the car. We seem to be chasing this rainbow for miles, through often heavy traffic and intermittent heavy downfalls. None of my attempts at capturing its vibrancy are particularly effective, and in the end it’s this heavily cropped version of the rainbow and a cloudburst taken across the barriers of the M1 that makes it to my main. 

We’re now staying in a forest lodge just north of York, here for another family gathering. I’m so pleased to report I’m feeling so much better than I have done for several weeks, so hopefully it will be an enjoyable weekend.
