Brownies

Our local Brownies are hoping to go on a trip later in the year, and to this end are trying to raise funds to keep the cost down.  So they had a coffee morning at church, and we were asked to help.  The girls worked very hard serving the tables, and selling their baking.  Mums and Dads had helped, but the Brownies did a lot themselves and were very enthusiastic.  It was fun and a pleasure to help.

The afternoon turned a bit cold for my neighbourhood walk and it ended with a shower of rain.  However, I met a neighbour to walk with and that made it pleasant.
