The last issue

A few weeks ago we noticed the last issue of Royal Mail special stamps and first day covers bearing the late Queen’s head was going to be commemorating 100 years of The Flying Scotsman locomotive.

We have a couple of Flying Scotsman memorabilia bits and pieces in this house and I collect the odd first day cover that appeals, so it seemed like a purchase was in order.

It arrived a few days ago. This is the version Callum chose for his wall. I’ve got the standard format first day envelope.
