Much Excitement in the Magpie Population

The magpies made so much noise, I heard it through the closed windows and the howling wind. Someone bigger has appeared in their tree!

My photo doesn't show all the magpies in the tree. I tried to count them, but they were constantly moving (so was the tree). Usually it's the little birds all excited about single magpies appearing - today they were sitting on the other side of the table in the tree.

A Saturday without a walk - hasn't happened in a while. Too much wind and my earache is back - don't need any more of that.
