Storm damage

Last night’s wild wet and windy weather meant that these poor Hyacinths were flattened to the ground, so now they’re enjoying some indoor sunshine, in a pretty little vase I brought back from Italy for Mum over 30 years ago. The wild weather also meant a sleepless night for me, so a quiet day pottering, reading, watching the World Championship Figure Skating, and a Chinese takeaway for tea.
