Lancaster

A shortish trip to Lancaster this morning, a city that seems like a town and retains many of its old stone buildings. No skyscrapers here! This is the view from the Judge’s Lodgings Museum towards the Ashton Memorial on the horizon. This was built at the beginning of the 20th century in memory of Jessy Ashton the wife of a local industrialist.
