a bicycle built - for one from - back in the day - saturday’s seem to - be designed for - coloring once i’ve gotten chores - done, or in this - case i had - an appt and - then just wasn’t - feeling quite up to - par so figured - i’d settle in - with the boo - who was begging - for a cuddle - and finish off - another project i’d begun - a short while back

it was one - that reminded me - of bygone days - with my brothers - riding our bikes - around the neighborhood - killing time until dinner - when mama would - call us in - ahhh… those were carefree - days and simpler - times when the - year of 2023 - seemed a fantasy - yet lookit where - we are now - but some things - never change like - the easy enjoyment of - putting a colored - pencil to paper - to create a fabulous - picture of a bicycle - simple, pure and a task - which will always lead to…
